Pilates is a method of exercise that can be applied to all types of exercise and everyday movements
and tasks.
Functionally Strengthening, stabilising and increasing abdominal and pelvic floor conditioning; Back
and glute activation and to improve posture. Pilates will encourage whole body stability using the
deep core muscles throughout your whole body. Pilates is not just about using the muscles deep in
your stomach, you will also increase stability in the muscles that support each joint, such as the shoulder girdle, the wrists, knees, ankles.
This also makes it fantastic to use as part of an injury
rehabilitation program.

Joseph Pilates taught with 6 main principles of his exercise method breath, concentration, centring, control, precision and flow.
By centring the body and concentration on breathing and control throughout the movement, you will get precision and flow (Beauty and grace) in all exercise and everyday tasks.
